SKI LIFT CONSTRUCTION CREW MEMBER
Highlander Ski Lift Services & Construction (www.highlanderskilift.com) is seeking general and skilled workers to assist with new ski lift installations in Park City, Utah. This is a great position for ski patrollers, snow-makers, groomers, lift operators, lift maintenance crew members, or anyone who enjoys their winter job but is looking for highly-paid work in the off-season. This is also an ideal position for ski bums or people who like to travel. Work with Highlander for 8 months and get 4 months off in the winter.
Come join our crew and spend your days working outside in the mountains throughout the stages of construction including building the terminal and tower foundations, machinery assembly using off-road heavy equipment and helicopters and hanging the chairs on the cable of the completed ski lift. Highlander has an excellent safety record with all training and PPE provided.
Projects generally run from mid-April to possibly as late as mid-December. Help is needed immediately for our project in Park City, Utah. Entry level positions are available. Successful team members have the opportunity to join our industrial mechanic/millwright apprenticeship program, registered with the US Department of Labor.
Pay rate is dependent on experience, $20 minimum. $100 monthly tool, gear and equipment allowance. Individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement. 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with the option to work Saturday, overtime pay after 40 hours. Completion bonus of 10% for anyone who stays until the end of the season/projects.
